It may be unorthodox to spend the evening of February 14th with your chorus being coached by a legend. Luckily for Vocal Standard, we embrace the unorthodox! For the second time, we were honored to welcome the Betty Clipman for two back-to-back evenings of challenging and inspiring coaching. Betty is not only a highly sought-after vocal coach within the barbershop community and the director of a Top 10 International chorus, The Woodlands Show Chorus, but also a Sweet Adelines International Master Director, Master Faculty, and an international quartet champion to name only a few of her accomplishments. We learn and grow in leaps and bounds every time we get the chance to work with her, and we love every minute of it.

What a fantastic way to begin our coaching lineup on the road to regionals! Vocal Standard had the honor of being coached by the illustrious Karen Breidert whose countless accomplishments include Sweet Adelines International Master Faculty, Master Director, and two-time international quartet champion, most recently as the baritone for The BUZZ! After several hours of hard work with Karen, we've already learned and improved so much! We're amped and ready for the next challenege!
